  1. The first step and most important step is planning.  During the consultation process, we’ll discuss prospective site location and access, council requirements, desired schedule for purchase and delivery, internal components and customisations and transportation options. We will provide you with a quotation details all the costs involved for manufacturing and delivery.

  3. Prepare your site for your home delivery. Our plans will detail where the footings need to be placed on a level site. Your home comes prewired and preplumbed and you will need to plumbers and electricians to connect your home to the grid, water mains and sewage system. Talk to us if you need help finding tradespeople. We do not provide installation.
  4. You will be advised of the delivery process during the planning process. Before delivery, the balance and transport costs payments is required. Depending on your site, you may require additional cranes to lift your home from the truck or over obstacles. Once placed on the footings, you can begin expanding your PG Portable Home.
Do I need council approval for my portable home?2023-10-04T14:55:22+11:00

We encourage checking with your local council however you may be able to be exempt from council approval by classifying your portable home as a moveable dwelling or as a caravan using the following state legislation exemptions:

NSW

In light of the pandemic, floods and bushfires, the NSW state government has updated the regulations for manufactured home estates, caravan parks, camping grounds and moveable dwellings. These changes mean portable homes may be set up without approval, by or on behalf of a public authority. These sites need to be safe and have appropriate services. They can run for up to 5 years, but after that they need development consent.  There are also other options for you to consider for rural sites.  Please see the following links for more information:
